Ingrid and Rob’s spring couple session in Corfu Old Town took place just before Easter, during one of the first evenings where the town begins to fully wake up for the season. The streets were filled with colour, little Easter trinkets appeared in the shop windows, and the fruit stands spilled out onto the narrow Venetian lanes.
“We spent early spring in Corfu and were delighted by the beige and pink little streets of the Old Town. Although I was a bit nervous at the beginning of the shoot, Jitka immediately made me feel at ease. There was a perfect balance between her giving us direction and, at other times, letting our chemistry naturally unfold while she captured everything through her camera. And of course, she knew all the beautiful spots in town! It was such a fun and bonding experience for us as a couple, and we are absolutely delighted with the pictures.” ~ Ingrid & Rob
Rather than rushing from one landmark to another, we spent the evening slowly wandering through the old town together, stopping wherever something caught our attention. Corfu is perfect for that. Around almost every corner there’s another staircase, hidden alley, pastel doorway, tiny church, or pocket of golden light that feels straight out of a film scene.
We made the obligatory stop at the famous Papagiorgis gelato shop before continuing through Liston Square and the quieter back streets as the light softened toward sunset. The session ended with coffee in a cozy little outdoor cafe and a sunset walk along the Mouragia waterfront, with the old fortress glowing across the water.
