What a perfect surprise proposal for Jessica at Victoria’s Butchart Gardens!
As extended family and friends looked on, Hai Jun got down on one knee and popped the question! Jessica had no idea he was on the island, expecting him to be in Vancouver. The joy was palpable and everywhere the couple went, the staff at the gardens were incredibly kind - even offering Jessica some freshly trimmed roses from the rose arch!
“When I first stepped through the Italian Garden entrance I was in absolute surprise. I had to do a double take to make sure I’m not dreaming about seeing Hai Jun at Butchart Gardens. I looked back and saw my brother filming and that’s when I knew this was it. Tears formed. Being in Victoria for this special moment felt full circle. This was one of our first trips together.
