The golden light-filled evening made for a dreamy wedding portrait session with Linden and Janelle, at Victoria’s most romantic castle. The couple met while both studying at Royal Roads University, and returned on their honeymoon to capture these photographs.

“Both Royal Roads University and Victoria are so important to me, as this is where I meet my soulmate, Janelle. I still remember the day when I approached her in the RRU cafeteria and mustered up the courage to ask her to sit down with me to finish our drinks together. From then on, we explored Victoria together. After classes finished, we would spend many evenings on the beach with our feet in the sand, dreaming about life and falling in love. It felt like a dream come true to visit Victoria with my wife, only a few days after our wedding.” ~ Linden
“Meeting the love of your life in a castle feels like a real-life fairytale, but that's exactly how Linden and I met almost nine years ago. For our honeymoon, we flew back to the city where we fell in love, Victoria. Visiting the Royal Roads castle and shooting photos in my wedding dress felt incredibly nostalgic and magical. We were both beaming with love throughout this shoot, as we reflected on the special places and memories that were the foundation of our love.” ~ Janelle

After wandering around their beloved university grounds and reminiscing, we headed to nearby Albert Head Lagoon to finish the evening.
