On a crisp morning in the lead up to Christmas, Harrison organized a surprise proposal for Stefanie at the site of their first kiss on Dallas road beach.
“I don't think I did a very good job of this! I had this whole plan to go on a bunch of dates over a few weeks, but everything was shutting down, so I had to work with what I had. We had a photo shoot planned and I thought it would be fun to capture the moment! I wish I had been able to do more romantic things but it was still awesome and so fun.” - Harrison
"I did suspect that he might pop the question soon, but I initially didn't have any idea how he would do it. We planned to take some nice photos together, which I didn't think much of at first, because my mom had been asking us for some nice ones for a while. The closer it got to the day though, the more I realized that Harrison was up to something!" - Stefanie
A moment into their “couple photo shoot” and Harrison was down on one knee, asking the question!
"I was afraid that I might have to act surprised because I was pretty sure I knew what was going to happen, but it turned out that my automatic reaction was to just start crying!" - Stefanie
After a quick outfit change, the couple strolled to some of Victoria’s most picturesque urban locations, including the Legislative buildings and the beautiful inner harbour, before finishing up with steaming cups of coffee at Stefanie’s favorite Milano Coffee.
